Who believes George Bush?

In 2000, Team Bush took over the Republican Party and laid out its promises to the American people. The following pledges and claims are taken directly from the 2000 GOP Platform. Should we laugh or cry at promises made by an administration that has ruled through deception, endless war, politicization of intelligence and the Justice Dept., outing CIA officers, and the like? A Republican administration working with the Congress will respect the needs and quiet sacrifices of these public servants as it strengthens America's intelligence and counter-intelligence capabilities…” Diplomacy and Maintaining Allies “The arrogance, inconsistency, and unreliability of the [Clinton] administration's diplomacy have undermined American alliances, alienated friends, and emboldened our adversaries." Endless Military Missions, Exit Strategies and Troop Readiness "The current administration has casually sent American armed forces on dozens of missions without clear goals, realizable objectives, favorable rules of engagement, or defined exit strategies.” [Emphasis added.] "Sending our military on vague, aimless, and endless missions rapidly saps morale. Even the highest morale is eventually undermined by back-to-back deployments, poor pay, shortages of spare parts and equipment, inadequate training, and rapidly declining readiness. When it comes to military health, the administration is not providing an adequate military health care system…" Restoring the Rule of Law and the Justice Department The rule of law, the very foundation for a free society, has been under assault, not only by criminals from the ground up, but also from the top down. An administration that lives by evasion, coverup, stonewalling, and duplicity has given us a totally discredited Department of Justice. The credibility of those who now manage the nation’s top law enforcement agency is tragically eroded. 10. I find it very un-comforting that you used all your quotes from biased sources. It would have been more thought-provoking if you came across as a neutral source, but to ask the question and then proceed to dictate your opinion to us is not how asking a question works.

14. Well first off it wasn't out of and deception of any sorts I don't think most people even know or care about it.they did not rule out the CIA, justice dept. and stuff like that. They pretty much destroyed them. And they did damned good job too.

17. I voted for Bush and would do it again! At least he has the balls to fight back! Clinton would have ran scared or made "a deal" behind the scenes. That is how that bastard kept peace. Dirty business! We are fighting for a good cause and the military personnel agree. They are not sorry. They believe in what they are doing. By the way, in the years we have been fighting this war, we have lost less people than we did in the Titantic or the Vietnam War so get over it! America fights for what we believe in and we know going in to it there will be casualties. It is unfortunate and sad but it is a given.
