i want to do SAP and im a M.B.A graduate suggest me some good course in SAP...Is it possible for me to do XI?

I've really interested in shifting my career to software industry and I'm worried abt my educational background (M.B.A) I've done my computers long back and few of my frndz says that i can do SAP and few otherz say no.. When i go for counselling to some training institute no one gives me the exact counselling.. some says SAP doesnt need coding experience and computerscience background and few institute says itz a must... I'm little worried on that.. Plz suggest me on this and suggest me a good course to do..

1. SAP can be divided on two broad parts functional and ABAP(coding language of SAP). Its completely wrong that u dont code in SAP . If you are good at thinking logic and have some idea about Object oriented language like C++ then it will be easy for you to pick up ABAP.If not then you will find it difficult.If you want to go for coding then i suggest read c++ by balaguruswamy and then go for ABAP.There are more openings for ABAPers as freshers. Functional is something u maynot need much coding still if u have knowledge in coding its easier to grasp the thing. Jobs in functional side have openings for experienced people mostly. XI is the internet deployment of SAP there u will require coding. In nutshell i would say u will require coding knowledge.atleast the object oriented concepts which are explained well in C++.read that then u maybe able to decide yourself what suits you.
