I am going to finish 10th standard and wanted to know that what is the career in pilot training?

I also wanted to know that shall do engineering from a good college and then become a pilot or shall i straight away become a pilot? and are the best pilot trainig institutes in India or in other countries? And also what external subject helps with science(bio-tech or mechanic drawing)

  1. If you are an engineer then its really an advantage when you are trying to become a pilot. A degree in aeronautical engineering is definitely will help you to become a good pilot.
  2. PUC completion with distinction is a must. Then you have to appear for NDA Exams. Better join government run pilot training institute. Becoming a commercial pilot and defence pilot are totally different aspects. Make out this first, then accordingly you to proceed with the pre-requisites of the training course. If you want to have Engineering Degree it's well and good and that gives more confidence and courage in future trainings/hardships.If your date of birth (only date, not the month and year) ends with a single digit of 9 or 6 or 3 you better go for mechanical, if ends with 2 or 4 or 7 go for bio-tech.
