3. Long hours, low pay, little advancement opportunity, mediocre benefits, low status, lots of pressure to make sales, coworkers often stupid and lazy. Yeah, sounds perfect! to answer your points: training institutes -third party are waste of money, training by employer is minimal. opportunities abroad - few to none. Locals work cheaper than Americans and speak the language (or several) remuneration - not good career ladder - more like career stepstool at best: Start at the bottom and stay there.
4. Retailing is the easiest industry to get in. It may be good job in foreign countries becos you could be paid better there to save money but in india it is not good you are paid very less and you do not grow. Where as if you take it as a business there are chances for you to get settle bit faster for example yiou can see lots of shops around you and you could always notice that the businessman is making money but the people actually doing retail sales never get enough or equal to their efforts.
