Full Careers

Does anyone know of a career that works with waves or a machine that converts waves? Links would be nice!?

I need to write a paper, so can you please send me links on any machine that uses or converts or doeas anything with waves? I need what it does, different things its used in and any other info. With the careers, I need schoooling, training, how many are there, and any other info! Links would be great or just a notice of what search engine, exactly what search, and # of entry online. You can tell me a list of different careers or machines that you know of. I know Tvs, radios, microwaves, etc, but i need more ideas! thanks for your help!
