CAREER HELP??? People Person......?

So I have no idea what I want to do in life. I have taken the career test and assessment test but still have no direction. I am a people's person and love to give and help anyway I can. I don't want to be a doctor, cop or teacher. Any ideas? I have thought about a guidance counselor for h/s but they don't make any money, so now I'm leaning towards a social worker or adoption person to give kids help and homes. HELP!!! Thanks!

  2. Being a social worker sounds good. If you like to help people, you can think about becoming a therapist. You could become a family counselor/psychologist, with the right education you could make a lot of money, while still helping people. You might also look into being a coordinator for an organizational group. They get to work with people all the time, and they make pretty good money. You may also like to become a director of a recreation center or something like that. Just throwing some things out there.
  3. social workers make less than teachers. steer clear of government jobs unless they take lots of school, like a doctor. :) Kids always want to go into a line of work they enjoy. I hate to burst your bubble, but there will always be someone trying to keep you from enjoying your job. Think about careers that can be personally rewarding and financially rewarding. The medical field is great. Nursing, radiology, physical therapy, anesthesiology. theres lots of fields in the medical field. thats what I think and what I'm steering my children towards. Science and Engineering is also hot right now. The U.S. is having to hire foreigners to come in a fill positions that Americans arent going to college to fill.
