I need a career training loan, that is NOT throught sallie mae, they are worthless! Can someone help me out?

Some of these are grants that you don't have to repay. http://www.edd.ca.gov/eddtraini.htm These examples are for Calif, but you can look for the information in other states through the state employment office under training programs.
