Can someone please refer me to a career training for my cousin that is a convicted felon?

I am here asking for any help because my cousin is coming home after his long bid in jail and is desperately trying to straighten his life. He has been in and out for years.. has a lot of job experience in contruction, computers everything but there are so many people that are not willing to hire a convicted felon. Can someone refer me to a place that accepts them or a career training for him to get back on his feet?? Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you

  1. food service in restaurant kitchens.
  2. That would depend on what he was put in for in the first place....Factory jobs arnet very glamorous but they generally hire the most ex cons...He should just be upfront with them in the interview and some character references wouldnt hurt either...Good luck to him
  3. He could open up his own child care facility.
  4. He could work for the Republican party. Probably even run for office as most Republicans are convicted felons.
  5. If he talks to someone at the prison and he has experience in certain things they should know of people. My bro-in-law learned welding in prison and got a job while in prison so when he got out he had a job to go to it's been 5 years and he is now a supervisor for a company in Texas for high rise welding he actually helped weld the dome at Sea world in Texas and is going to be moving to China to do welding there.
