What type of education is needed to become an author?

I am doing an assignment for school & I need to know the education and/ or training needed to be in this particular career. Please provide as much info as possible for my benefit. Info is needed ASAP!! Thanks

2. your education would have to be high, meaning that you would have to really know the subject you are tutoring in before yu teach it to anybody else!! A good tutor will know almost everything and is polite while tutoring you. So in all you need to know more than what you already know to have the education of a good tutor!!
