Please advise?
I have been working in the restaurant trade for the last ten years, but don't feel any closer to opening own business so have decided on a career change. My second concern is the unusual and long working hours that I currently have to deal with. Has enyone recently made the transition from this kind of work into something else and if so, do you have any recommendations as to which field would be most siutable for someone in my situation? Please bear in mind that I have no experience in any other fiel but the hospitality and catering industry.

- 1st off, Do you have a degree in anything? Getting a degree made a big difference in where I could and couldn't work, I was a technician(mechanic) got my degree in Business Management and now I'm a manager at a local restaurant, It helped me move up and out. I also have several other companies looking at me to run their businesses for them in the automotive field. 2nd, There are several different jobs that you can look into within the industry that you are in, check out hotel, larger restaurants,... Get onto some of the job bulletin boards and see what they have. Good luck and hope this helps.
