My girlfriend and I cant figure out a career for me! HELP!?
I've come here asking this because I've taken career test which say i should be a pipe layer which I would hate and my girlfriend and I cant think of anything . These are my interest: MUSIC is my #1 interest. I know how to set up any string instrument, and like to play (guitar and piano mostly) a variety of instruments and would say that I am good at it. I also have experience recording and mixing music for local bands, and helping get their demos on the radio. second, I love random history facts! I know so many unusual things about history from the eastern and western world that I never have anyone to talk about it to, because no one I know shares the same intreset as me. I love education television and learning. I also am a very quick learner. I hate working in factories, and I dont like jobs that dont involve interaction with people or music. I am getting ready to go to college or tech. school and was wondering if you'd have any ideas of a career i may be interested in! Thank you!

- If you like music just do something that involes in music, I like crime scene and now Im a detective.
- Teach music if it is one of your passions! Place an add in the newspaper - stating that you can set up instruments and play music.......... There might be some people that might need your services.
- How about a history teacher? That would leave you with lots of time to pursue your music. You are paid have summers off, and they have good benefits, You never work weekends, and you never work past 4 pm. You are paid to be off for all holidays, and It doesn't take that long in college to become a teacher. Try for Elementary or Middle School, the kids are easier to deal with and in Elementary School there won't be as much homework to grade. You can grade papers while the kids are working on what you have given them. You are in air conditioning in summer and heat in winter. You can give music lessons after school to boost your income or be a music teacher but they work after school teaching the band members to play and march and you will work weekends whenever there is a game or function that requires a band and for the musicals that you will be required to do. Also the recitals that you will be required to do. History teacher sounds much better as you will have more free time to do what you like. I gave this some more thought. Have you thought about being a radio DJ. They have wacky hours and you would probably have to work the night shift because you would be new. But it is in music and they make decent money. Though you would have to work promotions and advertising, like when they are at a dealership, or clubs or parking lot parties.
- First of all U should make up Ur mind that what U want to do and after that get prepare for that and then find out.
