What resources can I use to boost the quality of my career search?
Hey everyone, I will be a Senior next year at NCSU and am trying to start my career search process. I have contacted old bosses for references and contacts and spoke a little with our career office. I have also visited online career employment sites (monster, career builder). Is there anything else I should be doing. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks again! p.s. by the way my major is business management finance

- Start networking on LinkedIn.com. It's a great resource. Also, there are job search sites that combine results from many different places (job boards, corporate sites, etc.). Try these: www.indeed.com www.simplyhired.com If you're looking in a specific city, I would recommend doing a Wiki search (or other internet search) for companies headquartered in that city. Keep a spreadsheet of them and check the corporate careers sites for openings regularly. Some companies post on their career sites, but not on job boards. Good luck!
