After the Spurs beat the Cavs and win the title??

When the Spurs beat the Cavs in the finals, should Robert Horry be given the MVP award?? His quick thinking at the end of Game 4 in the series with the Suns, when he bodychecked Nash, was absolute genius. Of course I'm not serious, but, you have to admit, that play on his part, might have saved the Spurs season. Even when he's not hitting clutch game winning shots in the playoffs, Horry always finds a way to make a huge impact. He's had one of the most unusual careers of any NBA player. For a guy who is little better then a journeyman, his impact in the NBA (especially in the playoffs over the years) has been extraordinary. I said I wasn't serious. OF COURSE somebody like Duncan, or Parker, or Ginobili should get the award. I'm just saying that Robert Horry might have had the biggest individual play in the entire playoffs.

1. He's a clutch player, but I don't think he deserves the MVP. You'd have to give it to someone who has carried the team in through the series, and that's definitely not Robert Horry, great guy, but not my pick for MVP. If I had a vote I'd pick Duncan hands down.
2. I like Horry but he doesn't get enough minutes to be the MVP. And can you really award that on the basis of one play?
3. Absolutely with out that heady play the spurs are at home right now. The confusion, between basketball and football, he felt when he formed tackled nash was one of the best moves NBA history!!! J/K
4. I hate that the Lakers let him go, but I guess he wanted to be traded to a Texas team to be near his hospitalized daughter. I'll never forget him in 2002 VS SAC.

6. Im thinking the Cavs will win...just as long as Lebron doesnt get in any foul trouble..and Gibson starts getting his shot on. But lol, Horry has always made a postive impact for his team..whether it be hitting a long three to give his team the win. Or whether it be hitting an MVP to cause bench players from the opposite team to leave the bench....which in result came to suspensions. But yeah i agree with you. Without Horrys hit against the Suns...they would of lost that series hands down no doubt about it.
7. Lebron will get it anyway so your point is moot: Cleveland in 6. The Cavs shut down the Spurs just like they did going 2-0 in the regular season against them. While the Spurs are a better team in the playoffs than they are in the regular season the Cavs are a much better team than they were at the beginning of the season or even just a couple of weeks ago.
