The first two jobs, my boyfriend has done: 1) Dead Animal Removal Technician (Flipping Dead Possums off the highway) 2) Steeple Jacking (Climb 2000 feet TV and Radio towers to repair or paint them, at night, since they're on the air during the day) 3) Antarctican Scientist (Study the weather and wind patterns, my last boyfriend had done this) 4) Underwater Welding on Off-Shore Rigs (a friend of my boyfriend did this) 5) Professional Ginseng or Morel Hunter in the mountains (my boyfriend had a friend who did this for a while) Unusual careers people would like to have: *Alaskan fishing boat deckhand *Animal Trainer at a theme park *Naturalist on a cruise ship *Ski Patrol member (Have friends who've done this) *Wilderness Adventure guide (Take people on canoeing and backpacking trips; I did this!) *National Park Ranger (Had a friend who was one at Mt. Ranier National Park) Have fun!
3. Media Monitoring - provided you like reading. Getting paid to read the newspapers & magazines. I did it for 5 years and had to explain what it was, every single time someone asked.
