hello, im btech 1st yr student, interstd in learnin abt networkin n internet security. where can i start from?
i had attentd a seminar on encryptn decryptn ..dat really invoked my interest nd i want to learn more abt it. im planning to pursue networking as my career bcoz i hear this field has rapidly growin oppurtunities...pls advice me how to go abt it....i have 2 months vactns which i want to utilize properly...also...is an "ethical hacking " course worth doing??

- Simon Singh does a good book on the basics and history of Cryptography. Ethical Hacking would be a very good course if you would like to get into networking/security because it will teach you how to find all the vulnerabilities in a network in order to better secure it.
- 1. While networking oppertunities are growing, there are still more people than jobs. Its a competetive market. 2. Get some books on networks and security from level 1 3. courses in White Hat hacking are always good, but you will need reasonable knowledge to understand them.
