Really need help deciding a CAREER PATH...RIGHT NOW!!?
Don't have long at all to choose a Career Path... I just want to make as much money as possible, WITHOUT NO MORE than 2 YEARS in College. I originally planned to take Automotive Mechanic and heard they make $16 (start) - $25 (max) hr., but what I intended to do with this skill is crushed by state rules. Then I heard that a Medical Lab Technician earns $21 (entry lvl) - $31 (exp. pay) an hour. Its a 2 year college course too, and makes more money and takes a lot less effort to do so compared to a Mechanic So now I found that a Garbageman makes around $30 an hour without any 2 years of school and waiting for 2 - 5 years of experience. Then I also realized jobs w/o school like construction workers and call centers make $16 an hour starting then I can work my way up like college but get paid daily since not in school and then earn around mid $20 to low $30s as the time I would be getting out of college earning $16. PLEASE HEP ME FIND THE BEST CAREER! b4 i get in college

- Have you ever thought about doing something that interests you and that you may enjoy instead of how much it pays? I would suggest getting your priorities straight and then figure out what you want to do. There is not a quick answer and I would look into taking some interests surveys to find out what you like to do. You could also consult a career adviser at the school you plan to attend. They should be able to shed some light on your situation.
