  2. No, I do not think he did. To me, "Death of a Salesman" was almost as depressing as "Glengarry Glen Ross." Men living lives of quiet desperation.
  3. Absolutely not. It's been a couple years since I've read the play, so I don't remember all the details, but he did not achieve the American dream. He is not wealthy and successful and fades into obscurity and madness until he kills himself.
