How long does it take to become a dentist and what will i have to do. This is my dream career?

1. in my country, the Philippines, the dental course is about six years, in which 2 years is dedicated in the laboratory, doing dental extractions, cleaning, making dentures, making tooth caps, root canals and others. First you should finish high school and then take admission test in a Dental school. Then study hand, lean the craft and pass the licensure exam given in your country so you can practice as a dentist.
2. here it's 3 years after you get your bachlors. The last 2 yrs a clinicals. But you can do dental assisting with an ascoiates degree ing dental assisting.
3. In the USA, you have to earn a bachelor's degree in a science of your choice (biology, chemistry, etc.). Then you apply to a dental school where you have to be accepted. After acceptance, you have four years of dental school. You then have to pass a national board and then a state board to practice. Good luck.
