How do I get that dream career job?
Hello, I'm a recent college thus experienced editor and cameraman, I'm trying to find a position in Sports Broadcasting. Either in the control room or a live cameraman. Any Idea on how to get started in that field?

- start putting your resume out there, also volunteering works wonders you meet lots of people with connections
- Connections are a huge part of it. Know anybody in sports broadcasting (or any broadcasting)???
- Most of the time you need to know someone or be in a union to get that kind of job. If you don't have those options then I would try getting a job that is in the same line of work that pays less but gives you a way to meet people that can help you.
- You pretty much have to intern and pray for a spot to open. If you have friends in PR, reach out to them for ideas. Try the local tv stations, but you may have to start in some place other than sports to get a foot in the door and get some experience under your belt.
