- Do you like numbers? Maybe you could take some tax courses and start helping to prepare tax returns.
- Here are a few ideas: Teaching. If you have a college degree, you can become a school teacher. Cities everywhere are always looking for more teachers. Social services. There might be some experience and knowledge you care to share and advice others. Delivery services. If you like spending time in a car and run errands. Organic gardening. There is a increasing demand for organic produce. Best wishes.
- I would try somewhere that will except you for your skills and not your age and put the wrong age on your application or something because people shouldn't judge you for your age they should judge you for your skills
- The F B I is looking for some older people for undercover work
- analyze carefully what you like to do and how you can generate revenue from it.
- a wal-mart greeter
- I would have to say the best career choice by far is network marketing in the health and wellness industry. My father is 71 years old, having a ball with it and earning more income than he ever did in the work force. Right now the baby boomers are looking for health and anti-aging. We have a breakthrough product that is showing such incredible results that it is selling itself. The compensation plan is by far the best in the industry as well, with many streams of income available. By doing this you are building residual income which will take you right through your retirement.
- with the world of experience at your fingertips and a good heart, why dont you look at social care....working effectively with homeless and underprivileged people is a really rewarding occupation...good luck
- I think a good career change for you would be ANYTHING you want to do! Don't let age be a factor in your mind. Life is too short and you should do soemething you love. If you are following your heart, everything else will fall into place. One thing I ask people when they are looking for a career change is, "If money were not an issue what would you do all day?" The answer usually holds the key to their life's purpose. Even if they say, "I'd sit around and play with my kids." Working with children may be their key. If they say, "I'd read." Something in the literary field may be where they would start. "Watch TV" What would you watch? What ar eyour favorite types of shows and why? Find what you love, what you have always wished you could do and just go for it!! Even if you think it will take too long, just do it. Sometimes as we begin a path another one unfolds to get us where we need to be even quicker.
