What would be a good career to enter after retirement from education?

Teaching career of 20 years, three degrees -- I would like to consider something dealing directly with the public or with public relations . My degrees are in English, education, and theatre. Any suggestions where I might begin searching? Thanks!

  1. Prison Warder
  2. Corporate Trainer.
  3. Why not work for a local drama theater group. There are many mini or child theater groups in my area, surely there are some where you are.
  4. Private tutor
  5. private tutoring
  6. Did you ever think of just retiring, and maybe do some freelance writing?
  7. You could definetely be a tutor for young minds. You could be part of a theatre group. The best idea would be to just settle down and write stories and maybe releasy a book. All you need is laptop and possibly a local Starbucks!
  8. In reality, there are only two ways to go: either you work for someone else and make other people rich while having the insecurity of being fired at any time; or you establish your own business and deal with the stress of managing an entire organization/business, the overhead expenses, financial risk involved, taxes, employee troubles, you name it. If you are ready to make a difference in the world and in your life, you must have the means to do it. Money is a vehicle and not the destination in itself. Keep an open mind because you never know when the angel of God is knocking at your door with a blessing. If you are unsure of what I am telling you, just ask yourself HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT? (The Money, of course). Think about it. Would you be willing to risk getting a job to be fired a few months later? Or are you willing to sit back, look at your options, and plan your game strategy. Remember: "People don't plan to fail, they fail to plan." I am only in my early 20's, but I always knew that I wanted to take charge of my destiny. Don't ever let circumstances control you; instead, control your circumstances. Could you donate some money to charity if you had it? Could you do volunteer work without having to worry about paying the bills? If you are like me; if you would like to help people, make good money, AND have the time to enjoy it, I strongly urge you to check out the following website: http://www.americhoice.unfranchise.com click on the "about MA" tab and click on the presentation link. If you are interested, you can e-mail them at americhoice@unfranchise.com You can never say that you weren't given the chance. The only person stopping you from achieving your full potential is yourself. Hope this helps and God bless.
