I'm in the process of changing careers from city planner to holistic health care and I plan on starting with massage therapy. I'm making this change because my personality type just does not work well in a business office environment. After taking a few personality/career assessment tests I've determined that I should be in a career where I can work one-on-one with people who need physical and/or physical care. I still need to make money while I transition. However, I'm staying with my mom while I go back to school so I don't have to pay many bills. My job options are 1) Do some short-term/high-paying work for FEMA where I could save money before going back to school full-time and then get a part-time job, while I'm in school, doing something related to my interests. Or 2) work for the Fed government full-time while going to school full-time at night. Which, sounds terrible to me but then again I'd have steady pay and good benefits (but when would I sleep or study?).
