what kind of education or training does an artificial flavor chemist need?

making artificial flavors is a form of chemistry. to have that career what kind of education do you need to have or training. any info is helpful. thank you

1. Lots of chemistry. If you want to be 'the man', you will need a PhD. If you want to be a lab assistant, you can get by with a BS. It just depends on how much experiance and school you have. You won't be walking into a research lab on your first day and runnning the place...no matter what degree you get, you will need some real world experiance.
