What major can you study in college to have a very well paying career?

Any interesting, or unusual careers, non traditional maybe? fun, jobs, that take a lot of formal education?

  1. The only undergrad degree that I've ever known anybody to actually get a job in without more education or an indirectly related job, is engineering. You might have to do a 5 year program instead of 4, but you can actually get a fairly decent high paying job. Of course, you have to be good at physics, chemistry, calculus, etc. And depending on the school you might miss out on that wonderful liberal arts education!
  2. any type of engineering, any type of business, landscape architecture there are a lot..but make sure you're going to like what you do too!
