Business Management, Education and career question?
Business Management Diploma, education and career question? Im planning to take Business Management for 2 years. http://www.nait.ca/program_home_21197.htm 1) What is the DIFFERENCE between 'Business Management' 2 year program, or the 4 year University level program in 'Business Adminstration in Enterprise Management'..... Which one is better + whats the difference? 2) Is it going to be easy finding an average paying job (30,000 per year) job at the beginning ? 3) What jobs can I find with Business Management? and would there be a difference between jobs compared to the 4 year program? Im thinking of taking the 2 year program, and looking for a job, and if Ill have problem I'll continue with my education for another 2 years. Please answer those 3 questions thanks!

- Hope this helps... 1). A University program will give you a degree, and degrees are always looked at before diplomas. The business world nowadays is highly competative, and businesses want top people on the job, so they look for the highest education. You can tell that the 2 year program won't teach you as many skills compared to a program double the time. Remember that the extra time spent in school will pay off. 2). It should be ok finding a good/high paying job, as long as you know people that work in the business field. Most people in business get jobs through other people, and your chances increase greatly if you have experience, so I highly recommend taking co-op or an internship during university/college. 3). I'm not exactly sure, but it should lead you into any general business career. You can specialize into a specific field in University, such as marketing or accounting.
