Career . . .?
How old were you when you knew what you wanted to do, career wise? How long did it take for you to know its what you really wanted to do?

- 35 and I don't know what I want to do when I grow up either. (Right now I'm a broker).
- 65 then I retired!
- I've changed since I was little. Its been so many things. But now its a journalist, or some carerr with writing. Columnist, maybe. I figured that out at 13. And i know its what i want because i love writing and helping peope. Haha, this is like an interview question.
- I've always had the idea in my head - since I was about seven or eight. I thought about being a writer. I knew I wanted to go into journalism in high school, but I really didn't have it channeled into a specific career until my freshman year of college. Now I'm working on a newspaper staff.
- Can I get back to you when I find out. . . ? I'm surviving. I own nice stuff. I have a gig. I have investments. In the words of Nike: I'm doin' it. But it's nothing I particularly WaNtEd to do. . . Just remember this: life sucks- - -then you die. So, skip school and join the circus immediately. The circus is a hulluva lot more fun than algebra, calculus, riding the bus, doing homework. Not only: circus chicks are HOT!! And LOOSE, yo! Ever been to Cirque du Soleil???? See? I told ya so!!!!
- upto now i stil dont know what i really want to do.. but i try to like what i am doing right now.
- Is there a right answer? I do not think you have just one career to do, you just have a path. I have always wanted to be a Consultant, due to that I've been always open to new job related experiences, loving changes and willing to learn bit from here and there. At the end, 'career wise' I know I love learning. What I did as I enjoy working with people I chose a major that allowed a bit of everything, so I deal with math or statistics, learning and developing others, law and regulations, creativity and leadership....it is just fun to explore any of those fields as at the end I am clear in terms of becoming a better coach....so, why to worry about starting at one point or another if at the end you enjoy the road even more than the destination????
