Where can I get/do a career aptitude test?

I hate my stupid job at a freakin' call center. I have just my high school diploma and definitely want to seek higher education. I just don't know what exactly, or where to start. Where can I go to find out?

  1. Great thinking about taking a career aptitude test. you can fine them on line for free. use yahoo and type in "free career aptitude test" Ho you may want to take several and be honest with the test and your self. Best of luck
  2. Go to your local community college and explain your situation. They may have career tests they can administer to you for free. Also, check with your local library. It doesn't matter what you major in... start with English, Math, History, etc. and then worry about your major when you have a better idea of what you want. You don't have to declare a major and even if you go with liberal arts, your degree speaks for itself.
  3. I would go to a local university's Career Services Center. Ask them if you could take the career assessment test, Myers-Briggs, personality test (it may go by different names: Myers-Briggs is famous). Maybe they will charge you, maybe they won't. Maybe they will help you, maybe they won't. Tell them you plan on enrolling after you save up a little more money. It could not hurt. If they won't help, they will probably be happy to direct you to a place where you could find a good career assessment test. .
