Career advice?

I want a career that is unusual, high paying and some what influential, but also gives me the opportunity to travel and. I love history and I was previously interested in archeology. Does anyone have any suggestions?

1. A politician. Unusual to be truthful, high pay, very influential, you can travel all cost paid for, historical downfalls within the party, and Archeology, well you can class Northern Rock as that, so there you are, everything you want in life. Problem solved in two minutes.

3. travel rep who does tours -but travel rep manager would give you more power, where as if your with the right firm you can have a hisotrical part to your job, if you know the right history you could travel the world investment banker work is dull but you'd get power and loads of money and travel. designing- of you are very good at motivating yourself AND know the right people (tho not much actual talent requred as much as knowing the right people), lots of travel involved, and if you want to bring a historical aspect into your work you can do this- it may add depth and put you apart from everyone else- look at vivienne westwood who brought back the french revolution in her 80's collection, it made her who she is today! conservationist or restorative architect (historical aspect there, but not much licence to thrill), travel involved. journalist: history would be an asset and travel is there if your with the right people. and need to travel for an artical or news programme. Or you could go travelling to help out poorer nations, voluntary but would pay your board and food. You would also learn new skills, not so much ancient history but you would have to have some knowledge to get you through.
