career as a pilot - getting college credits during flihgt training.?

Hey everyone, I am looking into a career as a pilot. There is a college not far from me that has classes for flight training. I get college credits for it and the classes are also FAA certified to get licneces. If anyone with a little more experince could help me out and take a look at this site and let me know if the price is good and if the degree program is worth while I would be extreamly grateful. Thanks to everyone

  1. You listed no site. But for a "basic" license, the average rate currently is about $17,000. As you go up in ratings (instrument, multiple engines, etc.), the price also increases. If you ENLIST in the military, you may get to work on the aircraft, but will not get to fly them. Only the officers get to fly them. You must have a college degree to be an officer.
  2. If you join the Air Force you can get it all free and you can possibly get them to pay for your college also.
