- a "C" is a mediocre grade. Not horrible by some people's standards, but not great or even good either.
- When I was in high school my GPA was 1.75. That means C-. It's considered pretty bad, but to be honest your high school GPA doesn't really matter. What matters is your SAT score and college application - I got into a university no problem.
- its depends how long have u been scoreing like this if its been along time now yes i belive its bad but if its a new thing i belive u are understress of some kind try and study hard finals and mid term are things u dont want to fail
- If you are planning to go to college, having a 2.0 GPA (that's what you get when every grade is a C) will limit your options in the extreme. Grades are important, but even more important than the letter you receive at the end of a quarter or semester is the learning process involved in getting that grade. Are you doing your best? Do you keep up with the readings and assignments? Do you ask questions when you don't understand something? Have you talked to your teachers to see what you need to do to improve? If you can't answer yes to all of these questions, you may not be working to the best of your ability and could just need to knuckle down with some serious study habits to improve your grades. If, however, you've tried all of these things and still get a C, then you need to look at the grades you get on your assignments versus the ones you get on tests. A significant difference between them could be an indicator of test anxiety, and special accommodations can be made for students who suffer from this very common problem.
- If you know you did your best then it doesn't matter. I would try my best to learn more and be the best if I were you! I went from mediocre unmotivated student to getting full marks in tests the best marks in my entire grade. My teachers actually thought I was cheating but I just decided to turn myself around and I discovered I was actually pretty bright.
- i think you need to know if you want to go to college or some sort of higher education. if so, you will want to get them up to at least B's to be safe. look at the requirements for schools that you are looking at. final exam importance depends on your teacher--check your syllabus. some treat them like a normal test, and some treat them bigger than normal tests. tests, though, are obviously counted more than assignments and quizzes, so they are a bigger determining factor for your grade.
- hmmm....... id study hard Cs are like saying im the best of the worst and the worst of the best when really you wanna be the best of the best soo id study hard the grade your at really determine's [[word check]] were your at in the future.
- Final exams usually count for 20% of your semester grade, each marking period is 40%. I would say that in todays world of 'going to college is expected' that yes...all C's is bad. you will not be able to get any educational scholarships and unless you are fantastic at an athletic event, you might have problem getting into a particular college. Freshman year is the easiest year of your next 9 years of school. You need to focus and study and you can get those A's.
- Well, it depends on what you mean by "bad"... If you keep going like this all of high school, you're chances of gettinginto a "respectable" college are slim. However, I'll tell ya, if you pull yourself together in 10-11 grade, meaning, high B's and A's, a college will look at that as a personal revelation in your attitude toward school... I don't know... is a C the best YOU can do? If not, if you can do better, then yes, it's "bad," because you're cheating yourself. You shoudl ALWAYS strive your best. Becasue when college application process comes around, you're gonna be kicking yourself... So my advice... just pull yourself together for the long run. Do your homework most of all... becuase if you do bad on a test, it good to have a high HW average to buffer it... Ok... you're a sophomore... How did you do in 9th grade?.... It's not too late to pull yourself together this 2nd semester and 11th grade. Eleventh grade is the most important year. But if you pulled C's in ninth grade, then you might have hurt your GPA a lot... Truth: You're goign to have to work VERY hard...
- That is good. When i went to school I always got straight F's
- a c is so-so
