Reserve Officer Training Program (Coast Guard) Chances?
I am applying for Reserve Officer Training Program with the Coast Guard. I have been a working professional for several years out of college, but I am looking to make a significant career change to something more exciting. My overall GPA for undergrad was 3.1, for professional certification, 3.25. I was not a good test taker in high school. My SAT was somewhere around 1050 (minimum 1000) and my ACT was 21 (they want 23). What are my chances for this program? I am planning on applying for Public Affairs (I minored in Public Relations) or Information Technology. Also, any application insight will be helpful.

- You shouldn't limit yourself to just the USCG. Speak with their recruiter, and if she can't help you, then talk with the Navy. If you are in good physical condtion, they will be interested in your qualifications. Best regards.
