Management Information Systems/Buss Minor or MIS/Comp. Sci minor?
I am currently majoring in MIS.... should I continue to minor in business or switch to computer science? I'm into more of a technical field but I want the fundamentals of a business education. If I minor in CS I still have to take Business Core (act, mgt,fin) classes but not as many. I think I might have more of an edge with the CS minor? Will I? Career wise I was interested in Database Administration which minor would probably be best? Which minor will give me the technical savy and more money?

- I'd say stick with business. I am in the same field just like you are. But i quit CS just because I don't think I can compete with the whole India for jobs in IT field.
- I have to admit that either choice is a bit of a waste. Everybody knows that you have overlapping courses, and the only reason you can get either is because it'll take less time. You should look to completely diversify in your minor like French or Speech Communications or take no minor at all and look for perfect grades in your major.
