certificate programs?

im a tad indecisive, and was wondering what some great career training certificates are to go for? im not too picky, like i said i just cant seem to settle on one. so if any of you have obtained a certificate, and now have a career in that field, maybe you can give me some ideas. and quick explanation of what you do, if it was easy to get a job afterwards, salary etc..

  1. Go for a certificate with something that interests you. You'll do better and be motivated to go to school.
  2. I have a paralegal certificate (21 years ago), a Project Management Certificate (3 years ago) and am about to finish a Mediation Certificate. All this is to say that at different points in my life, I've needed different skills and have found certificate programs good ways to get (at least) the training. All of them have and continue to play a role in my current career (since at times, they can all be applied to a particular project). As AJ said, find out what you want to do and then go for the certificate that trains you in that field. If you don't know what that field is, you may want to speak with a coach who can help you. One of the things we (coaches) do is help match people up with the types of jobs that will be best suited to them both in terms of finances and basic enjoyment and fulfillment. Good Luck.
