- here is a link for you, you may got some ideas from it. good luck! http://www.wisteme.com/question.view?targetAction=viewQuestionTab&id=1092
- I don't get it. Are you Chinese or Indian? What are you folks in China if they're Indian? Why do you want to stay with them if you don't speak Chinese? In the US, distance learning is secondary at best. Most education is through personal interaction with professors and fellow students. Anyway, if you're serious about your education, come to the US and do it the right way. You could even learn Chinese while you're here. Plus you'll learn how to spell ("n" and "u" are not words, unless you're 12 and on myspace...)
- As the other poster said, in most countries, doing a degree via distance learning is considered lower status than doing it in person. Most employers seem to prefer (some require) that you have done your bachelor's in person. So if your only option ends up being distance education, at least do your distance degree with a university that has a great reputation for its real-life campus. Don't do it with a university that is famous for being online, or only exists online. So some that you could look at, which are highly reputable, include: - University of Maryland - University of London (via their external programme) - University of Massachusetts, Amherst - Pennsylvania State University - Carnegie Mellon - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute All offer bachelor's degrees online. But there may be another option. You seem to be quite fluent in English. You can stay in China and take a degree from an English language program, in China, via an American or UK-based university. For example, University of Nottingham (UK) has set up a campus in Ningbo, and I understand that many/most of the courses are taught in English. New York Institute of Technology offers an English-language based degree via partnership with Nanjing University (I'll link to this one, below.) I think one of those options might be a very good idea for you. You'd get your degree in China, but in English, and from a reputable university. In addition, more and more Chinese universities are beginning to have modules taught in English, mostly for foreign students. To my knowledge, these universities include: - Qingdao Technological University (their business and their engineering courses) - Wenzhou Medical college (their medical courses) - Anhui University of TCM (their medical courses) - Jiamusi University (their medical courses) I will link to one such course so you know what I'm talking about. I don't know if that sort of thing works for you, but at least it gives you some options.
