Education, career and life after 30...?

For all you old folks out there, a question about your careers. IF you could go back to being in your late 20's/early thirties, would you take the time to quit a job you disliked and go back to University to retrain for a different life? If you're not over thirty, please don't add your answer to this question. Thanks.

  1. I will if I want to. 2 pointer.
  2. i wish i did it in my early 20's
  3. If I was single with no kids, yes I would. BTW, over 30 is not old!
  4. Im not over 30....just hit 26 and have been comtemplating it for the last few months. Just sent off some college applications... So yes....if they accept me...Ill quit myjob and redo it... No sense in being bitter or doing something other then exactly what I want to...
  5. I am currently doing it and I am over 40. Find what makes you happy and do it.
  6. Yes and no. I'm 39 by the way. I think the best thing is to stick with the job and train on the side. I definitely recommend getting the next degree up from whatever you currently have. There are many online courses available, and your constant job experience will pay off for you not just in the short term (money) but in the long term, because it says good things about you. Good luck!!
