Plz,can sum1 xplain 2 me anything about pharmacy (education,career information,etc)?
i was offered 2 further my studies in pharmacy.But i don't even have a clear picture on what a pharmacist do and what does one learn in pharmacy school plus what 2 expect in pursuing a career in pharmacy?i'm x even sure if pharmacy is da right choice 4 me..plz,i need sum answers

- Judging by the way you type, I'd suggest you choose another career. No disrespect but I wouldn't want you filling my prescription.
- well i dont know if it is different in other states but here in missouri you can work in a pharmacy while you go to school. a pharmacy assisstant mainly counts pills and things like that and the pharmacist double checks the prescription to make sure it is right. its a pretty simple job and has a great pay.
- Do you want to work in a pharmacy or do you want to manufacture pharmaceuticals? These are quite different goals. Would you even want to manage your own pharmacy - this may take an MBA and enough capital to buy a CVS or Walgreens franchise. That you are an international student means you'll have to check with the International Student Office wherever you apply. The application dates are usually earlier (since there are additional regulations regarding visas, etc) and you'll have to submit proof of being able to support yourself as you cannot receive Federal student aid.
