Looking for career advice (education).........?
This question relates to my career. I graduated from college about 4 years ago and since then have decided to switch careers and get into teaching special education. I've had the opportunity to gain lots of experience in the field and have discovered that it is my true calling. I'm torn between whether or not to go to graduate school or to get certified through alternative certification. Here's my main dilemma...I live in Florida but have always wanted to move up to the mountains in Virginia. I have found an amazing school here in Florida that I would absolutely love to work at. Should I make my move up to the place that I've always loved and wanted to be (away from my family) not knowing I'll find such a great place to work, or should I stay in Florida and get certified to teach here at the school that I love? Whew! Thanks for your help! :)

- If the job of your dreams is in Florida, then I'd recommend staying there, getting your qualification, and going for it. If it doesn't work out, then you can always move. Virginia isn't going anywhere! (And you can always visit!) Ultimately, just listen to your gut - it knows what you want to do.
