Is there any demographics (career, education, age) of US population that believe in creationism?
I heard that 75% US population believe in creationism. I wonder if there is any demographics (careers, age, education...) of those 75% population. And demographics of 25% US population do not believe in creationism

- I haven't seen any statistics. Do you define creationism as god made everything? If so, then it would probably be around that number if you include all versions of "god(s)." If you mean to say young earth creationism, I would say they are by far a small minority as I have never met a person in real life who believes in that and most of the sects of christianity accept science's proof that the earth is billions of years old.
- I don't think I've seen any explicit breakdowns, but given that the US has a higher than normal percentage of Christians (in the high 80's or greater) with atheist being around 5%, I'd say 75% is a low figure. Edit: I'm posting interesting links from searching the two terms... Edit 2: This from another website with no references "... CBS's demographics: Even as America's scientists make advances in palaeontology, astronomy and physics that appear to disprove creationism, Gallup surveys have shown that about 45 per cent of Americans believe the Earth was created by God within the past 10,000 years. It is not just creationism either. Last week NBC's Dateline current affairs programme, equivalent to the BBC's Newsnight, investigated miracles. It concluded some could be real ..."
- It sounds like a political question and that is all dependent upon jow it is worded and how you repeat it.
- I don't trust any of the statistics I have seen it range from 9 to 83 percent..So much depends on how the question is written..Do you think God created the Universe. Or Do you believe in evolution, or do you believe in a young Earth etc.
