Is Tom Cruise a case study in how to throw away an acting career? Are we seeing his decline and fall?

What advice would you give to new actors who are beginning their careers? A spokesman for Paramount Pictures claims that Cruise's public behavior has cost the studio at least $100,000,000 to $150,000,000 in ticket sales for Mission Impossible 3. If this is true, I doubt he will continue to make money like he once did in the past.

2. Hes going to make the same money, with someone else. I would tell actors to follow present actors into drug rehab - this is what the studios want.
3. Tom Cruise is a classic case of fanatical religion trying to take over the world. Like Mel Gibson who also let fanatical religious beliefs take over and completely destroy his career, I seriously don't think he will be able to return to normal after all is said and done. His career is toast at this point. I would say stay well away from Scientology, even though a crazy number of actors and other celebs are involved in it. Also there's many other actors out there who are much better role models for new and future actors.
4. What acting career? I didn't know Tom Cruise had one. I am not a fan of his. I've had several lovers who were actresses. What advice can I give them? Perhaps to not develop big egos and seek publicity by doing any silly thing that may occur to them. Many stars need to hear and to heed this advice.
5. Tom Cruise is still a powerhouse and will be around for as long as he wants. Public misbehavior often translates into more money at the box office. As for new actors, they should go to the very best schools to learn the trade... the competition is unreal.
6. The Dixie Sicks made a comeback of sorts with Barbara Streisand and her friends buying out their cd's to the point they stay at # 1. They still cannot sell tickets though. So Maybe lib hollywood will buy out poor Tom.
