Jobs with B.A. in Psychology???
I graduated college in 2002, but found out I was pregnant a month after graduation. I have been a stay at home since 2003, when my son was born. I am ready to put my little one in daycare and start my career. I did do volunteer work at a juvenile prison during my junior year in college, I helped inmates with homework and taught them to read. My senior year in college I did an internship, for class credit, under an M.S.W. at the same juvenile prison. The MSW would let me sit in on her counseling sessions with inmates, ask for my feedback, and taught me the steps of an intake interview. What are some good jobs psychology related or not that I could do with my B.A. in psychology and minor in Administration of Justice?

- There are thousands of things you can do with a B.A. in Psych (i personally went in to human resources after college). With your background I would say to try to get in with a place that counsels troubled teens, or contact that juvenile prison and see what openings they have. Your few years out of work will count against you, so you should use the contacts you have to find a starting out point. Hope I helped!

- Have you thought about the education field? I work in an alternative school and we are always looking for teachers and other specialists who have the combination of psychology and law, especially those who have worked in the juvenile sectors of the law. We have people who focus on just attendance/truancies, as well as a social worker and school psychologist. Education is nice too because of course you get the summers off to spend with your son.
