My dream career... help?
Let's see. I want to either be an astronomer/astrologist; detective; or my greatest, a PSYCHIATRIST! [I love helping people. Makes me happy seeing them happy.] Although I hate studying physics and etc... space just interests me. I'm only 14; still thinking about what I want to do/be. I'd want to be a detective because I'm a little daring and too willing. But I don't want to die... yet... [If I did... I'd still accept my death. =/] Some people say I should be an author because I'm 1,000,000% optimistic and I have so many thoughts; the downside is I hate writing. I'd love being a psychiatrist; or pardon my bad grammar/spelling.. =/ But would anyone have any suggestions on what job you would think I would be best suited for???? Ooh.. Life seems to just go by too fast nowadays.. It's sad how it won't wait.. I wish it went a tad slower. I just want opinions; honest?

- your 14 no worries just yet. try to do a bit of everything and see what happens. study hard in school and get the marks to be able to decide when the time comes what you want to study.
- You'll change your mind a hundred more times before you have to decide. Trust me. I'm almost 22, about to have two pretty specific degrees, and I'm still looking for my dream job. It's good to narrow down your options, like yes, being a writer is not good if you don't enjoy writing, regardless of how many thoughts you have. But there's no pressure on you yet; it's not like you need to prepare at age 15 to be a detective; be a kid for awhile. Your dream jobs are just that now: dreams.
- We, that is Yahoo advisers, can NOT tell you what you want to be when you grow up. Hell, I'm old and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Just enjoy your short childhood, teens, etc. Once you get old and get a real job and life ,you will actually wish for your youth again. I PROMISE THIS!!!! Other advice is just explore everything that remotely interests you. You will hit on something you just love and can't live without. Good luck.
- i know the other people that answered already had some good suggestions but ill put my opinion in... im 20 years old and i wanted to be an astronaught when i was 6.....a police officer when i was 8......a computer repairman when i was 10... im now working contruction full time and repairing and rebiulding computers in my spare time. you only need to start worrying about jobs, vocations, and life time thingas when your about 15 or 16. until then just sit back, relax, and have dreams. i was just like you at 13 years old but i got over it. have a nice day.
