Because many people aren't as shallow as you seem to be.. and believe that looks aren't everything. Stimulating personality, unspeakable intelligence, and a sparkling sense of humor can make the ugliest man attractive to some women, somewhere. Stability also looks good in the eyes of a women too.
That is easy, girls are attracted to power, money and fame, why do you think all those ugly people you see on TV have hot chicks, cuz they have at least one of those. So if your ugly, I pray for your sake that you become a doctor or lawyer or something where you make lots of dough, cuz if not, sorry buddy, no trophy wife for you.
Start flashing the greens and show off your wealth. A gold digger can't resist it but then again your pockets will be empty in no time and you will be struggling and resentful. It might be better to focus on other succesful women and don't focus on their hotness.

I would rather marry a smart, successful, funny nice guy then a poor (or rich), mean spirited hot guy. Maybe she is in love with him, and would have married him even if he wasn't rich.

Maybe he's interesting or funny or really smart. Those things are pretty important to having a successful career. Plus he's showing he can be a good provider for a wife and children, which is important to women. He may also treat women well and be romantic and attentive. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder so what some might view as ugly, others might see as attractive.
well first of all you must not specify who u want to marry as a "Hot Girl" yes i would say the girl u are gonna marry is gonna be beautiful, at least in ur opinion, but dont forget, "Beauty is only skin deep." and belive me the right woman would appear some day.. and will live "Happly ever after..." i can keep on writing and expand this answer to a couple hundred words.. but to tell ya the truth dont really feel like typin:p

What would you define as a "Hot girl" ? let me give you some advise. Grow up. Find the woman that is your companion, best friend, and make her your " hot girl". If your thinking you need this "trophy" just because you think you are successful. You will end up with a successful career and an alimoney payment to go with it. Give all the girls a chance, you might surprize yourself. If you think you are ugly then don't have an ugly personallity to go with it.
Maybe the hot woman is not about looks, she may be attracted to either his money or his confidence.
