  2. Try illinoisjobs.com or government websites in your area. You can also just type in illinois jobs on the Yahoo search box or google. Another suggestion is looking around your area and listing down prominent businesses. Then, you visit their sites and find out if they have a link for job openings. The local paper is also the best way to find a local job. They might also have a website that you can visit.
  3. Have you tried craigslist.org? Have you tried getting into contact with your local unemployment office? They can give you some contacts towards employment. Also, have you tried going to the businesses directly (door to door) within the 62219 area code? I tend to find that approach to be rather useful.
  4. I would be happy to share my business opportunity with you, its against the rules to post anything here so you will have to e-mail me if you would like more information.
  5. 3 sites that can help you: 1.) Indeed.com - http://www.indeed.com Indeed.com is a giant "aggregator" of job postings which include those on Monster, HotJobs, and CareerBuilder as well as a bunch of smaller sites and many employer sites, too. Just did a quick search on Indeed and your Zip Code and Indeed returned 25,639 job listings for 50 miles around that Zip Code. The mileage is adjustable for a smaller range or a large one. Obviously you'll need to narrow down that search with keywords related to the job you want. 2.) Craigslist.org - http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ Craigslist is a giant online classified ads site, organized by location. It's a great site to use because many smaller employers use it for their job postings because it's simple and cheap. I picked the St. Louis version because I think that's the biggest city near you. The St. Louis Craigslist 3,236 jobs and 325 "gigs" (project jobs) Again, just add your keywords of job title to the search, and you're set. Here's a guide to using Craigslist that will be helpful, because it is an unusual site until you get used to it - http://www.job-hunt.org/onlinejobsearchguide/article_guide_to_craigslist.shtml 3.) Job-Hunt.org - http://www.job-hunt.org/jobs/illinois.shtml and http://www.job-hunt.org/jobs/missouri.shtml Job-Hunt is a giant directory of over 9,000 job search resources, organized by state or country or specialty. The Illinois page of Job-Hunt (above) has over 100 resources listed, including local classified ads, state and local government, school districts and colleges, and many other employers. The Missouri page has approximatey the same number. Good luck with your job search!
