How would one go about in pursuing a career as a cruise ship captain? (ex., education, age, etc.)?

1. Service as a captain in the Navy helps.
2. a good start would be to learn ships navigation, plots, and reading charts. You can get a lot of that kind of training and education as an officer in the navy or the merchant marine kind of the same way most commercial pilots start out in the military to gain knowledge on the governments dime.
3. engineering degree wil help plus ypu must go to ;piloting school and other naval courses
