- I would say it depends on what you're looking for. Something fun - marketing. This also has the benefit of being a growing field with a lot of income to be made. Something secure - accounting. Every company needs accountants - it doesn't matter where you start, accounting is a system and once you learn it you'll be able to go to any type of company. Something available right now - customer service. Low pay and crappy hours, but you can start with virtually no experience. But I would say if you're young, while you're in school keep an open mind and open eyes. There are so many careers out there that you have never heard of, or even know exist. I've been in accounting for a long time and I'm trying to move into Marketing... it's a tough transition and I'll probably have to start near the bottom again. Wish I would've thought about it more when I was younger!

- Top of the list are (in my opinion) stock brokers, doctors, lawyers, record producers. All of these have a liscense to steal. Lawyers commonly charge to to 50% of what they get for you or you pay them from 100 to 600 an hour if you lose. Lawyers who offer you a contract which don't charge you if they lose are not going to lose. Stock brokers have the opportunity , the means and often the will to use your money to make millions for themselves. Regardless of whether you lose or make money they make theirs up front. Doctors are often caught with a room full of patients who are charge the full treatment or price for exams they never get. some doctors will claim to treat up to 300 a day but in reality it's mostly blood pressure checks, weight taken, all by nursing assistances and a 30 second to 5 minute visit by the doctor if at all. Our company has no sick leave provision so if you are sick you have to see a doctor or face displinary measures such as points charged against you . Too many points in one 6 months period can cost you a job. Your only alternative is to see a doctor at one of the many medical chain clinics which usually costs $350 to $600 for test to tell you you have a cold when all you needed to began with was rest, liquids, and an asperin. Many musicians have now began their own record producing company for two reasons. It appears they are not always getting the true account of the sales of their recordings. musicians and song writes are supposed to get a portion of each record/CD or DVD sold, and a percentage every time a cd or record takes a hit on a jukebox, tv or the radio.(every time it's played). They have like the record producers discovered that there are millions in going after people who download musci on line. I personally and wondering just how many of these songs are put there by the recording companies for that purpose. The most satiflying jobs are college professorships, research scientist, highly technical positions such as you find in nasa. Online sites which when developed like u-tube or my space are huge successes. Miscroscopic welders are paid an average of $1200 an hour and does not take a lot of education but you must be able to weld under a miscroscope of which only about 2 or 3 out of a thousand can handle. Registered nurses can make great money aand will have no problem picking up jobs which pay $65 to 80 an hour after a year in the business if they are willing to relocate. People with business management degrees who have the savy and the heart to ruien other son their way up can make millions in contracts once they get to the top. Most high output CEOs who are fired make millions on settlement clauses. But it takes a very special breed of people to ever attain this level. College and even high school coaches are into making millions often for something they did not do and even after being fired. Bobby Bowen's son was recently removed as a coach from FSU. I understand this was a firing move but he's beinbg given a professorship I think. At any rate he will make at least 12 millins if he leaves the school period . Let me get fired for not doing my job and i'll settle for 6 million. I know of local small county coaches making over 125,000 a year . That isn't bad for a 2 month period.
