4. Depends by "top" what you mean - do you mean well-paid, well-respected, or a job that helps others? If you mean well-paid, then becoming a solicitor in a big firm that deals with corporate law is probably a good start - they can sponsor you through training, and you start on about 35k - but you have to be a top achiever with a 1st or a 2:1 from a top university, and be prepared to work like crazy.
