Career Change?
I love to do financial and marketing analysis, however, i've been having a rough time getting entry level positions because i am not a recent graduate. I received my MBA back in 2001 when the dot com bubble got bursted, so all companies freezed hiring. Now that the market is better, I still have a tough time getting job interviews 'cuz they said I am too old and experienced (in other fields) to have an entry level financial analyst position, even though my GPA was 3.8 and I really love finance. Any advice?

- Awesome: you do not need all the education you have to make a huge living, I am a finance director for a Dodge dealership and the income is enormous. I never had any college and I make more money than any graduate. But the fact that you have that in your back ground you will be loved in the auto industries and you have no bad habits to bring to the table. Contact your local dealers and tell them about your education and that you are looking for a career change and do they have a entry level finance positon. But you would in time like to become a finance director. Entry level positions are about 5000.00 to 7000.00 dollars. Directors are making 10,000.00 to 20,000.00 dollars. These do include bonuses. But go to the major dealers. Just continue on the track for finance. Good luck
