career change?
im a teacher, head of department and earn around £30k a year and i hate it! i need another job, not necessarily as well paid but something i will enjoy! lots of holidays would be good too, any ideas? thanks

- erm to be fair i dont think any one gets as many holidays as a teacher does do they?? What about something in oil and gas they work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off??? I would imagine thats interesting too?
- you do not say what you actualkly teach which might have helped. However, the nicest example I have come across was a guy with Phd who had worked in Universities for years in a well paid high powered job who gave it up to be a park ranger in one of the national parks in the UK. he had never been happier.

- it all depends on what you can do and you aren't saying much about yourself except that you are a teacher.
