career change?

im a teacher, head of department and earn around £30k a year and i hate it! i need another job, not necessarily as well paid but something i will enjoy! lots of holidays would be good too, any ideas? thanks

  3. erm to be fair i dont think any one gets as many holidays as a teacher does do they?? What about something in oil and gas they work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off??? I would imagine thats interesting too?
  4. you do not say what you actualkly teach which might have helped. However, the nicest example I have come across was a guy with Phd who had worked in Universities for years in a well paid high powered job who gave it up to be a park ranger in one of the national parks in the UK. he had never been happier.

  6. it all depends on what you can do and you aren't saying much about yourself except that you are a teacher. Internet Affiliate Marneter would be my suggestion, you get to take as many holidays as you want and the money is as good as you are.. or perhaps take career aptitude tests like this one http://www.job--listings.info/free-aptitude-test.htm it won't be too good if you are outside the US but perhaps they'll suggest something you can realistically do, based on your test, good luck
