career change?

is this a good time to change careers to real estate

Bottom line ..is that really what you want to do? regardless of what state the market is in, if you are passionate about the industry, and you are in a financial position to take an initial pay cut (if that is what is required to get "in") go for it. We spend so much of our lives at work, it should be, at least, something we enjoy. Good luck

Pass on any career in real estate at this time, since most entry positions are mostly commission-based along with an expense account offering which you have to pay back should you leave the realtor's employ. And even if you should decide to acquire a broker's license, there's no guarantee that you will have an easy sail in light of the fact that the movement of homes and apartments are drastically down. There's just not enough listings to support an overloaded number of real estate agents and the like. Good luck!
