Full Careers

What are some good options as for a career in the United States of America?

I am a current student at a community colege and this winter I will obtain my associates degree in arts. But I am a little confused to wht I can do with an arts degree. Also I was planning on being a spanish teacher, now that I consider the amount of money that a teacher normally earns, I am discouraged. Could someone please tell me some great search sites, which could help me find some information about the economy, growing industries, as well what someone can do that is bilingual?

  1. Coroner, what with all the murders!
  2. It depends on where you are and what your first and second languages might be. Hospitals, schools, all kinds of places that deal with the public need bilingual people, but if there are a lot of people already fluent in that language in your area, I'd guess you wouldn't be in demand. If you are willing to relocate, you might look for an area where they could benefit from your language skills. Right now, about the only thing they haven't mechanized or sent overseas is stuff in the medical professtion like nurses, technicians, etc. Of course, they are working on robots for that. For what they haven't sent overseas, they are importing people with temporary work visas to do, for less than someone with equivalent credentials from the US will demand. I really, sincerely wish you luck and I hope you have a successful job search.
  3. A good thing to do is a spanish academy, I started selling spanish material to my friends and teaching spanish to a couple of kids. then I decided to start an academy. right now I have my own academy with 60 kids. just focus on spanish activities for kids, so kids can have fun and learn a second language. If you like kids, and put a lot of effort you'll get great payback. I bought the material for my academy in walmart, marshalls, borthers. and some of it in a website www.spanishmaterial.com they have great resources as well. I hope it helps.
